The AI (Artificial Intelligence) Lab by DoH aims to foster a new culture, mindset and new ways of working for innovators in Healthcare. It provides a medium to fuel innovation and coach idea-owners and innovation teams in bringing their ideas to success.
In cooperation with the Department of Health, Abu Dhabi Danat Al Emarat Hospital is thrilled to announce its first healthcare hackathon (Preg-a-thon) to be held on 26-27 February 2021. Themed, “The Road to Safe Pregnancy Hackathon,” aims to bring together interested researchers, students, and practitioners to form a community around an innovative resource to find solutions to manage pregnancy complications.
The focus of this 48-hour hackathon is to create a prediction model to support Danat Al Emarat Hospital manage pregnancy complications proactively across its 3 Pillars:
Prevention - Screening programs, create awareness & analytics.
Early Detection - Early diagnosis & patient support.
Prediction - System management & risk management.

Danat Al Emarat Preg-a-thon aims to bring together the Abu Dhabi Health Ecosystem to innovate solutions around the system's systematic problem, focusing on identified pillars.
To innovate on realistic solutions and build a prototype throughout the hackathon to help in managing pregnancy complications.
