Scope of Practice

Scope of practice is the set of services and activities the licensed healthcare professionals can undertake in line with the laws that govern their profession, their professional title, knowledge, skills and competency, and delineated clinical privileges.

Note:
In the absence of a formal DOH Scope of practice document of any healthcare profession, the healthcare provider should outline in writing the roles and responsibilities to their healthcare workforce considering Abu Dhabi and UAE healthcare laws and regulations.
