Abu Dhabi Department of Health Chairman visits Clinica Eugin in Barcelona

His Excellency toured the facility’s different divisions to explore the latest medical advancements and international research and development initiatives in treating fertility. The tour was led by Prasanth Manghat, Chief Executive Officer of NMC Healthcare, Eduardo González, Chief Executive Officer of Eugin Group.

During the visit, His Excellency Al Hamed highlighted the importance of knowledge-sharing and joining efforts to work towards enhancing the healthcare sector’s outcomes. He pointed out that today’s modern technology is playing an integral part in delivering highest quality care services to members of the community.

In addition, Al Hamed said that DoH continuously strives to learn from global success stories and showcase its own experience with others to open gateways for cooperation between different sectors that ultimately serve to improve patient's experience.

Al Hamed commented: "The healthcare sector is witnessing rapid and unprecedented development and we continuously seek to ensure we are staying ahead of the curve by leveraging knowledge-sharing opportunities with healthcare providers from world developing countries such as Spain. In addition, we strive to deploy the latest technology and machine learning tools to further enhance Abu Dhabi’s healthcare sector outcomes."

Prasanth Manghat, CEO, NMC Healthcare showcased NMC’s capability creation model that started with Clinica Eugin and how NMC grew to become one of the largest network of fertility clinics in the world. In addition to their presence in Spain, NMC’s network of clinics are spread across Italy, Denmark, Stockholm, UAE, Muscat, Kenya, Colombia and Brazil.

Speaking on the occasion, Eugin group CEO, Eduardo González, thanked His Excellency for his institutional visit. He highlighted how the group’s multinational presence provides the scale and flexibility to showcase best practices and success stories from leading healthcare institutions from around the world.
